Open and Affirming Welcome Statement

Welcome Statement (adopted by the congregation on July 6):

Cherry Log Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is a congregation open to and affirming of each and every person.  We honor all people, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, color, age, sexual orientation, gender expression, marital status, physical or mental ability, family configuration political affiliation, economic circumstances, religious/theological perspectives, and world view.

From our very founding in 1996, Cherry Log Christian Church (DoC) has welcomed all people into the full life of the church, membership, and leadership.  We covenant with God at the Lord’s Table to embrace all.

We live into our commitments by offering radical hospitality, following our motto to BeLove.
