Rev .Monica Ledford grew up in Blue Ridge, GA and currently lives in Cherry Log. She is an ordained minister through International Christian Community Churches and is a Commissioned Minister through Disciples of Christ. She previously served as founding pastor of Christ First, ICCC and is currently studying at Lexington Theological Seminary.
Played church organ for Strawberry Plains (TN) Presbyterian at age 10. B.A. from UT Knoxville. M.Div. from Columbia Seminary. Traded IT/technical editing for part-time pastoring and university lecturing in 1998. Loves Jesus, Jeff, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 87 house plants, books, shoes, Ellijay, deer, music, and CLCC.
Her primary career has been in administration including US Department of Defense, School Secretary for Grace Lutheran School, Key West, FL, and Administrative Assistant to Superintendent, Deputy Superintendent, and the Regional Director of Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary in Key West.
As avid hiker, she and her husband moved to North Georgia in September of 2022 to be near the mountains. They have 2 boys, one girl and one granddaughter.
